What type of services are available, and what are the fees that should be expected?

 We are proud to announce that we are the only wedding and event planning company around that offers such an extensive list of additional services at reasonable costs.  When we say that we will do anything for our clients throughout their planning process, we mean anything!  Below is a list of some of the additional services available for our clients.  Should you not see something on this list that you will be in need of, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will assist you in any way that we possibly can!

-Seating Charts, Invitation Management/Writing/Mailing Services, Place Cards, etc.

-Wedding Dress Search, and set-up of consultation appointments.

-Catering:  We offer catering services from our own personal chef who studied at Johnson and Wales University.  Some of his experience includes practicing his culinary arts at 5-star hotels and restaurants in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.  We will set up an appointment for you to meet with him directly to discuss exactly what you are looking for on your special day.  After your initial consultation with him, you will set up another appointment for you to come in and have a trial of the item(s) in which you have chosen for him to make for you.  

-Hair and Makeup Services:  We offer full hair and makeup services from professional cosmetologists and makeup artists.  You will have the opportunity to meet with them for a consultation appointment, and then if you choose to, come back in for a "trial" so that your hair and makeup is exactly what you want it to be for your special day!  These services are also available for other guests (ex. bridal party members), should you wish for them to take part in the fun as well!

-Full Event Decorating/Take-Down:  No matter where your event is, what type of event it is, or the size, we offer services to come in and fully decorate the entire venue, and take everything down and clean up after the event is over.  Usually clients who are having events at personal residences or other smaller rented facilities choose to take advantage of these services.  Don't stress out about the preparation or clean up of your event!  Sit back and enjoy the day while we do all of the work!

-Baking Services:  We deal with many vendors, especially those who specialize in baking things such as specialty cakes for weddings and other special events.  However, we also offer our own on-site baking services should you be interested in cakes, cupcakes, cake-pops, candies, or other gourmet desserts.  We guarantee that we will have the best prices around, so don't hesitate to ask us about our baked-goods menu options!

-Banquet Servers/Waitstaff:  Should you be holding your event at your own residence or at a location in which waitstaff is not available, we have experienced, professional individuals who are available to come in and work your event to assist in providing anything you and your guests may need or want.  All of our servers have been trained specifically for banquet-style serving, and have a professional demeanor as well as specific uniforms to wear so that they are always classy.  We pride ourselves on not only giving the best service to our clients, but looking Simply Fabulous while doing so!

   How do we determine the total cost/fees for a client's event? 

It's actually quite simple!  We came up with the most effective, fair system there is in our opinion, for the overall costs and fees that will be applied to a client's account for their planning services.  We are also pleased to say that when working with past clientele we were notified that no other planning company was as fair and as reasonable as we are for the amount and quality of work that we provide for all of our events.  Once you speak with us, or meet with a planner, we are positive that you will agree that we offer exceptional, top of the line services at an amazing cost!

When a client comes in for their initial client consultation appointment, (or when we go to meet with them personally for this appointment), there will be a series of forms and worksheets that will be filled out and gone over in detail to make sure that each and every wish the client has will be completed to the best of our ability throughout the entire planning process.  One of the very first things we will discuss is the overall budget that the client wants to spend for their entire event.  Once this number has been determined, both the client and the planner will sign off on this amount, and that is the final total that will be used throughout the entire planning process (unless, and only unless a client wishes to adjust it for any reason.)  We are not like most planning businesses that encourage our clients to "raise" their budgets higher, or those who tell their client one amount and then surprise them later with hidden fees, and maxed out credit cards!  

Once the overall budget has been determined, the client is given a budget worksheet that will list exactly how much money (down to the dollar) that will be allotted for each aspect of the event's planning.  The total amount that will be due to Simply Fabulous is 10% of your total overall budget for your event.  This means if your budget for your event is $1,000, then you will owe $100 to S.F.  The only other fee that is mandatory is your Planner's Flat Fee.  This amount is determined by the following factors:  the size of your event, the amount of work that needs to be put into your event, and the time-frame for your event (how much time is there to plan until the event-date?).  Your planner will be able to give you the exact Flat Fee amount as early as your initial phone consult based on the information you provide in response to the aspects listed above.  

The only additional fees that could be applied are in the event that you have chosen to use any of our additional services (listed to the left).  In most cases, if a client chooses additional services from Simply Fabulous, then they are not using a vendor or other outside business and in turn no money is used on top of their budgeted amount, it is rather deducted from the allotted aspect on the budget worksheet.  

We guarantee that once you speak to other companies that offer similar services for planning events, you will notice that they have numerous hidden fees, and they will give you much higher costs and fees.  We are so confident that our prices are the lowest that we actually offer a price-match guarantee if you can find the same services for a lower price at another event planning company.
