What does a planner "plan"? Planners are responsible for every single aspect of a wedding or event. This means that literally every single detail, every single idea or dream a client may have is the responsibility of the planner. Depending on the type of event you are having, and the budget you are making available for your event, the planner will start out by helping you choose specific things such as the theme for your event, the color scheme, decor, linens, etc. One of the first things that will be determined by the size of your event will be the venue, or location in which your event will be held. Once you have narrowed it down to a few options for a venue, your planner will take you to those locations and you will choose exactly which one fits your style and your event the best. Once the location has been chosen and booked, the next items on the agenda will be the type of food/desserts/drinks you are interested in, and your planner will help you to create a total menu for all of the food and beverages that will be served at your event from start to finish. The planner will then help you find entertainment that will best suit your event and the guests that will be attending. This could include a DJ, live band, or other types of performers. The next step is choosing the perfect invitations for your event, and if you choose to have Simply Fabulous take care of all of the invitation management and mail-out, your planner will get all of the necessary information they need to make sure they are filled out and sent to your guests efficiently. Once you have all of the major aspects figured out, reserved, purchased, etc. then all of the little things can be dealt with and all of the small, but yet important details can be tended to. Your planner's job does not end until your event has been successfully completed.
