When are payments for services due throughout the planning process? Throughout the planning process, you will meet with your planner several times, not including the correspondence you will have with them via phone and email. Notification of any and all payments that will be due to Simply Fabulous or an outside vendor or business will be given to you as far in advance as possible. Typically, as long as it is not a rush-event, the planner will provide you with a list of payments due, and notations of whom they are due to on a Payment Schedule. This will explain in detail all of the fees that will be due and on what date so that you have plenty of time to prepare for the payment(s). The Planner's Flat Fee is typically due in-full about a month after your initial client consultation appointment (again, unless it is a "Rush-Event"). The overall 10% of budget payment that is due to Simply Fabulous is not due in-full until the date of your event. This means if your event is not for a year, the money is not due for one year. Any and all payments that will be due to outside vendors or businesses for products or services that are being purchased, reserved, or rendered, must be given to your planner at least 24 hours prior to the date in which it is due to the outside company. This is done to ensure payment for the service(s) from the outside business(es) is made on time and there are no issues with the products and/or services being delayed or unavailable on the day of the event. All clients will receive all of the original receipts, work-orders for services, etc. to keep for their own personal records. A copy of all of the receipts will remain in the client's file at Simply Fabulous for future reference throughout the planning process. **All fees that will be due for any additional services you are requesting from Simply Fabulous will also not be due until the date of your event. If at any point in time you need to work something out with payments that are due to Simply Fabulous and not an outside business, please contact your planner immediately and we will assist you in any way possible.
